This gallery page shows you examples of the types of portraits I have created both recent and some years ago. They vary in size and media so look through the photos and if you have any questions contact me, there is a form at the bottom of the info page for that purpose

While a lot of my portraits are of cats, dogs, or people, I am equally at home creating portraits of other animals, celebrities, still life and even fantasy. So, if you have something different in mind just ask, as I would be happy to create else something to suit your requirement's, so long as it does not infringe anyone’s copyright.

Most of my commissioned portraits are from people who want a lifelike portrait, often to remember a recently passed and very much-loved four-legged companion. Being an animal lover that is something I understand completely having been through it myself several times over the years. It is never any easier, even when you have been expecting it will happen for some time; that is why it is satisfying now to know I can help someone else come to terms with that painful period in their lives.

I also enjoy creating portraits of family members. It is nice to be able to look back on a portrait that represents a particular moment in time, it can fill your heart with so many wonderful memories. This is especially true of loved ones and children who grow up so fast that it is all too easy to forget these precious moments.

With good photos to work from and by talking to my clients about their subject’s personality each finished portrait can offer something unique that I feel a photograph can fail to capture.
